Hello! My name is Jeff McDowell and for over twenty-five years, I have been on a quest to understand how people make sustained life-transforming changes. During that time as pastor and counselor, I have walked with people as they have transformed their lives. I want to help you do the same thing. If you are living a life less than you desire, let’s get to work on a renovation. I work with people who dealing with life transitions, improving relationships, managing anxiety and depression, or just providing a safe environment to talk.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the State of Texas and I am supervised by Dr. Jerry Terrill, Lic. #3264.
I am trained in a number of counseling theories and modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, and Gottman marriage therapy (Levels 1 & 2).
I have an undergraduate business degree, a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary, a Doctorate of Ministry from SMU, and a Master of Counseling from Houston Graduate School of Theology.
